Ca del Monte is tucked away in the hills above the Valpolicella town of Negrar. It has been in the hands of the Zaconte family for multiple generations, with current management provided by brothers Umberto and Giuseppe. The house and winery are small and are located next to an old monastery from the 17th century. The vineyard's 15–65-year-old vines are planted on moderate slopes at an elevation of 800–900 meters and cover around 50 acres of the estate.
Luminous, light Ruby Red. Bouquet: Deeply floral and fruity, very complex with aromas of fresh wild berries and cherry. Taste: Fresh, with flavors of cherries and berries. Balanced acidity, inviting. Recommended dishes: Versatile wine, from appetizers to pastas and risotto with vegetable sauces.
