Juan Gil Description
Hints of spicy nuances that complement the ripe black and red berry aromas. A flash of sweet strawberries with dusty tannins on the medium-bodied palate with a fruity finish. Good balance and structure, this wine may be enjoyed now and has the components to drink well for a few years.
Blend: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Monastrell, 10% Syrah
Wine Advocate: 92 Points
Like with the other 2021s, I found the 2021 Juan Gil Red Blend more harmonious, elegant and integrated. It feels a bit young and the palate is still a bit aggressive. It should get polished with some more time in bottle.
