A historic wine produced since the 1960s, this distinctive and characteristic white wine has earned its place among the most appreciated wines worldwide. It has always benefited from the tuff rock on which Orvieto was built. The low and constant temperatures of the cellars carved into the soil facilitate long fermentation and the creation of quality wines.
Grape varieties: 60% Trebbiano Toscano and Grechetto, 40% other complementary grape varieties.
Vineyard features: The grapes for this wine are sourced from Umbrian vineyards, as outlined in the Orvieto Classico Production Regulations. These vineyards are situated at altitudes of 150-250 meters and feature tufaceous soils rich in clay.
