Sauza Hornitos Description
In 1950, Hornitos was boldly born to commemorate the anniversary of Mexican independence. We then took a fresh take on tequila when we introduced the world to our Reposado, with its distinctive notes of apple and herbs. This spirit was one of the first of its kind and was served to the world decades before it became a common practice. Even now, Hornitos Reposado remains a symbol of those who live life boldly.
Our Reposado tequila is aged for two months in large 10,000-gallon (38,000-liter) oak vats to ensure minimal contact with the wood, resulting in a more lively agave flavor than most wood-treated tequilas. It is light in color with a floral and vanilla aroma and has a distinctive smoky finish.
