Many producers in Italy have been making sparkling rosé for years, but until now have not been able to label it with the “Prosecco” name. New regulations in Italy, however, have opened up the opportunity for labeling wines Prosecco Rosé, and are now allowing for producers to blend the Glera grape with up to 10-15% Pinot Noir to make their Prosecco Roses for the masses!
Made from Glera and Pinot Noir grapes this Prosecco Rose is effervescent and lively. A secondary fermentation in steel tanks produces long lasting bubbles with ripe red fruits and citrus
