Diverse layered aromas of cherry, cranberry, and wild mountain blackberry with a nice array of spices, particularly thyme. All of that coupled with a hint of light floral notes pegs this wine as distinctly Cabernet Sauvignon on the nose. On the palate, flavors range from black cherry, blackberry, and plum with a slight accent of fresh tobacco leaf and a burst of pomegranate. The fruit and acidity are nicely balanced on the finish with alongside a sturdy tannin structure.

This classic Washington Cabernet Sauvignon is a very complex wine that has great vineyard sites comprising the blend. With the grapes harvested in late Fall, the perfectly ripe fruit was balanced with near ideal acidity. All components of this wine were fermented in stainless steel upright tanks with PDM yeast. This wine was finished with 100% malolactic fermentation, then aged for 14 months in a mixture of new and neutral French Oak barrels.
