La Forge Estate Description
The La Forge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon displays deep ruby red with intense notes of blackfruit, mingled with tobacco, vanilla and pepper on the nose. The palate is full and rich, with leafy blackcurrant and sweet blackberry, velvety soft, liquorice and underlying vanilla, finishing soft with some toasted oak and integrated spice. An excellent full bodied red that requires breathing 1-2 hours and will get even better with age 5-6 years. Best served with lamb, game and strong cheeses.
