A blend of Syrah, Touriga Franca & Alicante Bouschet
A wine that reminds us of the importance of the ecosystem in which Ravasqueira is located. It encompasses 3,000 hectares of complex, rich, and fascinating nature. A heterogeneous system that balances and strengthens itself with each attack of time. The name "Enchanted" tells the story of what unfolds at the roots of the vines in harmony with the cork oak forest and all the fauna and flora of this rich territory that produces unique wines
Vinification of Syrah and Touriga Franca in open stainless steel lagares (tanks) with automatic plunging allowing for high extraction
Vinification of Alicante Bouschet in stainless steel fermenting tanks with regular remontagens
The blend is aged for 8 months in new French oak barrels
The final blend shows the solid nature of the Syrah grape with the added tannin from the Touriga Franca and the freshness and intensity of the Alicante Bouschet. The resulting wine is rich and full bodied, with a sweet middle palate having layers of fruit and oak, spicy licorice notes and tannins adding to a solid finish.
